Happy Thanksgiving to our American friends.

We celebrate it earlier in Canada. We have much to be thankful for, one reason being that we have a very decent relationship with your country. I wrote somewhere else that we both have forgotten (or forgiven?) that you declared war to us in 1812, and that we retaliated by burning down the White House. BTW, we (old ladies in Toronto) are ready to do it again if your present President doesn’t bow to us, the next time he visits.
